Ronna-Rae Leonard

Courtenay-Comox

Standing up for people in Courtenay-Comox.

Ronna-Rae has lived in the Comox Valley for 34 years, has strong connections to her community, and has been a dedicated advocate for families, seniors and the environment throughout her career. Twice-elected as the MLA for Courtenay-Comox in 2017 and 2020, Ronna-Rae also served as a Courtenay city councillor for nine years. She and her husband raised their two children in the Comox Valley and continue to live here. She knows how special this place is, and how much the people who live here are counting on government to look out for them..

Ronna-Rae also knows that people in Courtenay-Comox are dealing with challenges, many of which John Rustad, Kevin Falcon and the former government created by helping speculators drive up the cost of housing, increase fees for MSP and ICBC, and cut schools and healthcare. She knows that’s not the right way forward for people in the Comox Valley.

Ronna-Rae, David Eby and the BC NDP are focused on making life better for everyday people, investing in housing, healthcare and services that help people. You can count on them to be on your side.

An Action Plan for you

Our plan helps you and your family so you don’t just get by — you get ahead.

In difficult times, you deserve a government that’s on your side – that has your back. Not one that will leave you to fend for yourself and help those who already have the most. That’s a risk nobody can afford right now.
